It's that time of year again!! The girl's dance recital is May 21st at 5:00. It will be at Viewmont High School and is free, hooray!! They have been working hard, and their costumes are amazing!! Hope to see you there! :)

Peter started playing football a few weeks ago and loves it!! He had his first official weigh in yesterday and had to be 76 pounds or under. He was a few heavy so we had to really watch what he ate, and he made weight!! He was very proud of himself...and happy that he didn't pass out from hunger at the weigh in!! I love going to practice and watching him, I actually really look forward to it!! He is such a good boy, so sweet...I love that he's so tough when he plays football, but then still sleeps with his stuffed alligator at night! :)

The kids had a fun Halloween...Shannon was Deron Williams (hmmm), Peter was a pilot (just like uncle Tyson), and Charlotte was just super cute!! She was a princess with wings, but we lost the wings before I had a chance to take pictures, oh well!! We went to a few houses then walked over to the church for trunk or treating...which is where the kids scored big time candy in about 10 minutes...it was awesome!!!

It just doesn't get any sweeter than this : )

Yes, that is Charlotte's "baby" sleeping in her tummy...she is sooooo sweet! It is actually her pink bear that she named "beary"...what a sweetheart : )

Charlotte is now officially potty trained! No more diapers...sweet!!! She is growing up so fast, and is becoming quite the comedian. She told me yesterday (while pointing to her ribs) that she has a baby in her tummy...and that it was going potty and washing it's hands!!! Shan, Peter and I laughed ourselves into a pile on the floor, it was so funny!! You just can't help being happy with Charlotte around...just look at that smile!! I love my little princess!! : )

Soccer Stars!!!

Game #2 for my little soccer stars! Shannon and Peter both scored goals today...they were so excited! Shannon played the entire game again, and her goal broke a 3-3 tie for the win! Peter's team lost...but he played really tough and continues to be the teams best defender! Charlotte helped me cheer them on...so cute! She will start playing next fall...we are already working on her ball handling skills! : )

Back To School!!!

Back to school for us today!! Shannon is in 3rd grade and Peter is in 1st this year...I know, I can't believe it either!! They grow up so fast!! The day started out with the kids breakfast fav...blueberry "puffy" waffles, new shoes and clothes (we love Sport Chalet!), ten tons of school supplies in the new backpacks, and we were off!! After school we all walked home together and I got the scoop on the days events!! They both had a great first day back, I think it will be an awesome year for them!! We also started back into soccer this week and have our first games on Saturday! We have been playing a lot in the backyard and having a lot of fun! They are very competitive... not sure where they get that from? :) They are good little athletes, and I am so excited for the season!!
